After several months of contemplation, several seizures and visits to the veterinarian, the heartbreaking decision was made to put Heidi to sleep the day after Christmas. We waited as long as we could, but on Saterday the 26th after another seizure, I realized that the tumor behind her eye was only getting worse.
It was almost like having one of your children pass away.

She loved to go camping, especially on the islands at Sebastian Inlet. And yes, we did let her sleep in our tent even when she was wet. She always slept with us. She was very social.

I know how you feel, I felt the same way when Fuzzy got sick and I had to have him put to sleep. You never forget.

Awe Dad and Laura that was so special. haven't had much of a chance to go through and look at your blog... Poor Heidi!!!1 We will miss her she was such a good doggie. I remember when we got her after Bear passed away and we would wrestle with her at the old old old house!!! Memories!!!!!
